Wedding inspiration... something blue...

With all the weddings we went to last year, we have plenty of photos and the wedding ones work so well with this gorgeous Bo Bunny Enchanted range, so I wasn’t short of photographic inspiration!

This week I bring you a page with a blue twist….. try using a different colour as your base for the layout and incorporate the black and white elements into it.

 

For this layout, I have used the patterned paper and added additional elements with the chipboard shapes and stickers and given them a lift by using magic mount of the back of them. It just helps to add that extra dimension.

As you can see from the close ups, I have also used some Glossy Accents on one of the stickers to highlight it.

 

 

 

A few little things as simple as adding some Glossy Accents and Magic Mount, can create a lift to your page and add dimension.

Get organised for Valentines Day

Needing to get the ideas flowing for your Valentines snaps for this year? Well look no further than the Echo Park Truly Yours range.

This layout is fairly minimal by my standards! I’ve used on a few small pieces of paper and used a journaling card and stickers to build the page.

This adorable couple is my parents. Dad wanted some new photos of them on Boxing Day and my sister had just walked out to the balcony with her camera to join in the fun and I just managed to capture them as they were looking at her and love the end result!

Santa Photo - Michelle

Not long now and we will be ringing in the New Year.

This is our 2011 Santa Photo, and what an easy photo to scrap using October Afternoon Holiday Style. I didn't really add much to this layout - the OA City Sidewalks did the hard work for me!

A little bling always looks good on a Christmas layout, and this Zva Creative - Flourish is no exception. I was impressed with how easy it was to use this flourish and remove it from the backing plastic!

It may not snow here for Christmas, but these diecut flakes made a quick and attractive addition to the page. I popped them up with Magic Mount, and as you can see, it added to the overall effect. I also cut up some longer stickers and traced around them to go with the dymo label title.

IMPORTANT TIP: If you intend to submit layouts for publication using professional photographs, you must first seek permission from the photographer and/or company - it's all about copyright ! You should also give credit to the photographer and /or company when displaying layouts in galleries, on blogs or the internet.
